I stayed at a hotel located right in the heart of Bowness on Windermere. The rooms had excellent bathroom amenities and offered a fabulous view, but some staff members seemed unenthusiastic. The location was convenient, near shops and with a fantastic beer garden, although it's on a very steep hill. The dining experience was good, with freshly prepared dishes available. Despite these positives, the price could be considered a bit high.
